Pacific Fund Systems opens Isle of Man HQ

Fund administration software provider Pacific Fund Systems (PFS) has officially opened its new operational headquarters in Douglas, Isle of Man.

At the opening event, local member of the Isle of Man House of Keys, Laurence Skelly, commented on PFS’s investment in local infrastructure and people and noted that technology companies have made a positive impact on the island’s economy.

According to PFS COO Paul Kneen, the decision to base its headquarters in the island was based on the strong talent pool of industry professionals, access to modern office space, the advanced technology infrastructure and the Isle of Man’s “growing success as a technology hub”.

Kneen said: “Geographically, the island’s time zone and location are also ideal to support our client base across Europe and further afield. This investment by Pacific Fund Systems in our centralised operations headquarters will allow us to continue to pursue our ambitious growth plans in the coming months and years ahead.”

The opening also coincides the launch of a new marketing strategy designed to encourage the expansion of PFS’s global client base, and to improve user experience through compatibility with web, tablet and mobile devices.
