big xyt, the independent provider of market data analytics, has appointed Richard Hills as head of client engagement.
Based in London, Hills will join the big xyt executive team working alongside Mark Montgomery, head of strategy and business development.
In this newly appointed role, Hills will help to drive client innovation using a partnership engagement model and will be responsible for promoting client awareness of products and services.
Most recently, Hills worked at Societe Generale, where he launched and built the equities electronic trading business. He also served as global co-head of cash equities execution encompassing electronic, programme trading and high touch execution.
Commenting on the hire, Montgomery said: “We are delighted to be adding Richard Hills to our team. He has a great reputation amongst our community and brings experience, market knowledge and client trust with him.”
He continued: “At a time when we have exciting new content ready for release, he will help us share the benefits of our unique capabilities to a larger cross section of the community."
