CACEIS has been chosen by C4 Ventures as a servicing partner to provide custody, middle-office, and administration services for the new C4 Ventures II fund.

C4 Ventures II will follow the first fund to support expanding companies in the areas of smart hardware, the future of commerce, and digital media.

The fund initially closed over €40 million during the COVID-19 lockdown, with a total end-of-year figure predicted at €80 million.

Hazel Naik, CFO of C4 Ventures, commented: “We want to ensure quality servicing and maximum operational efficiency for investors in C4 Ventures II, and selecting CACEIS will help us to achieve this. The group’s position as a key player on the European market, together with their fully-integrated front-to-back servicing offer, convinced us to make the decision.”

“We will be able to rely on CACEIS’ expertise at local and international level, especially in terms of regulatory developments, which is a real bonus for our rapidly growing company.”

Arnaud Garel-Galais, group head of private equity, real estate, and securitisation (PERES) coverage and business development at CACEIS, added: “We are delighted to be involved in Europe’s growing venture capital market by supporting C4 Ventures. The support needs of clients are central to our work, and the success of our integrated front-to-back servicing offer is clearly reflected in the positive client feedback we receive.”
