HSBC has been appointed by Tabula Investment Management to service another three sub funds on their Irish domiciled Tabula ICAV UCITS platform.

Tabula North American CDX High Yield Credit Short UCITS exchange-traded funds (ETF) successfully launched in June 2020 and listed on the London Stock Exchange on 7 July 2020.

Tabula has two further funds launching in the coming months with plans to expand its range further before year-end.

Paul Heffernan, head of securities services assets management sector in Europe for HSBC, said: “We see fixed income as a key driver for growth in the ETF market in Europe, and we are delighted to partner with Tabula to launch such innovative products for investors.”

MJ Lytle, CEO of Tabula, added: “HSBC provides a comprehensive and flexible solution-driven service. We look forward to continuing to expand our partnership as we grow and diversify our range of fixed income ETFs.”

Tabula Investment Management Limited, which is based in London, is a passive fixed income asset manager offering Irish domiciled UCITS Funds mainly in the form of ETFs.

HSBC’s Securities Services provides a bundled service solution across fund administration, depositary and custody on its growing ETF platform in Europe.

Elsewhere, HSBC has also recently been appointed as trustee for BlackRock’s iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF, the first master-feeder ETF domiciled in Hong Kong.
