Both Harwood-Jones and Ramambason will report to Roberto Hoornweg, global head of financial markets.

The rest of the management team was named as Luke Brereton, global head of FSS sales and business development; Ryan Cuthbertson, global head of FSS products; and Liu Chee Wei, head of central funding desk and XVA, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and South Asia, Greater China and North Asia.

The team includes Sam Phillips head, central Funding Desk and XVA, Africa and Middle East, Europe and Americas; Madeleine Senior, regional head of FSS, Europe and Americas; Scott Dickinson, regional head of FSS, Africa and Middle East; and Francois Verlaine, regional head, FSS, ASEAN and South Asia; Simon Kellaway as regional head of FSS, Greater China and North Asia; Marten Bengt as head of modelling and analytics group; and Tan Ying Ying as chief operating officer of FSS.

The FSS unit combines Standard Chartered’s existing securities services and portfolio risk management teams inside its financial markets business.

It consists of all existing securities services activities including custody, clearing, fiduciary and fund services, and securities lending.

In addition, it includes portfolio risk management activities across prime services, money markets, central funding desk, credit valuation adjustment and the modelling and analytics group.
