Archax joins LSEG’s ELITE programme

Archax has joined the London Stock Exchange Group’s global capital raising and business support programme ELITE.

In August last year, Archax was regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as the first digital securities exchange and custodian in the UK.

ELITE comprises a community of entrepreneurs, advisors, brokers and investors, focused on helping companies from around the world obtain funding.

Archax joins the programme as it prepares to launch the first FCA-regulated digital securities exchange.

As an early-stage start-up company in an emerging space, Graham Rodford, CEO of Archax, says: “It is amazing to have been selected to be part of London Stock Exchange Group’s prestigious ELITE programme.”

Rodford adds: “We look forward to leveraging the ELITE community and all the resources the programme has on offer as we ramp up the Archax business in 2021 and beyond.”

Tom Tyler, global head of business development at ELITE, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Archax to the ELITE community. We look forward to working with the Archax team, connecting them with our global ecosystem to support them as they grow their business.”

The digital asset exchange recently appointed Richard Shade as head of operations.

Shade was most recently head of custody at crypto exchange BEQUANT and before that was head of operations at CME Europe, the CME Group’s UK Regulated Investment Exchange.
