Apex Group, a global financial services provider, has made four senior appointments in its corporate solutions business.
Frank de Wit has been hired as head of corporate solutions, Luxembourg. He will be responsible for driving client satisfaction and revenue growth across all corporate solutions business segments in Luxembourg.
Wit joins Apex from Intertrust, where he was an executive director responsible for leading the private equity business segment of Intertrust's Luxembourg office.
Meanwhile, based in Hong Kong, Claudia Bolanos has joined Apex as head of corporate services, Asia Pacific (APAC). She brings over a decade of business development and operational experience in the APAC market.
Bolanos is an experienced business development and relationship manager in the financial and corporate services field, and was most recently senior manager of regional business development at Vistra.
In addition to the key appointments in Luxembourg and Hong Kong, Apex has strengthened its leadership team in Jersey with the appointments of Stephen Reilly, head of corporate solutions, Jersey, and Alice Read, commercial director, corporate solutions, Jersey.
Reilly spent over two decades at RBS International in Jersey, most recently as managing director, head of corporate banking and financial markets.
Meanwhile, Read joins from Intertrust where she held roles as director of corporate services Jersey and managing director Dubai. She also has global experience working within group company secretarial departments for FTSE 100 companies.
Read’s role within Apex will be to support commercial initiatives for the corporate solutions service line across the group, with a focus on strengthening existing client relationships.
Apex’s corporate solutions team provides clients with capital markets, corporate services, private client and family office services, business services, ESG Ratings & Advisory and compliance services.
These four senior appointments follow a busy year for Apex in the corporate solutions space; including the launch of the new compliance solution business and the geographic expansion of subsidiary, Throgmorton, into the US, Australia, Switzerland and the Channel Islands.
Matt Claxton, head of corporate solutions, Apex Group, comments: “We are pleased to build on the momentum of our corporate solutions business in 2020 and begin 2021 with the announcement of these high calibre hires.”
“These appointments are yet further evidence of Apex’s growing reputation as an international home for market leading talent. Frank de Wit, Claudia Bolanos, Stephen Reilly, and Alice Read, bring valuable experience to our Luxembourg, Jersey and Hong Kong offices respectively.”
“We look forward to the significant roles they will play as we work together to grow our corporate solutions business and deliver our single source solution to our clients, wherever they are in the world,” Claxton adds.
