Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) has launched a group of specialist third-party fintech and service providers with expertise in areas such as environmental, social, and governance data, insurance accounting, class action recovery services, and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive meaningful outcomes for clients.

BBH Connectors have been introduced to complement BBH’s technology solutions and data services to optimise asset manager and financial institutions operating models.

The connectors will be integrated through BBH Infomediary, a data integration engine that provides scalable data delivery across BBH solutions, client’s own solutions, and third-party solutions.

The connectors programme is launching with four unaffiliated external firms — Clearwater Analytics, Financial Recovery Technologies, IdealRatings and OnCorps — while also using several BBH-built solutions which can be provided together or separate from custody and administration services.

BBH explains that connectors are a “critical part” of how it works with its clients seeking an integrated suite of capabilities.

Chris Remondi, BBH partner and global head of relationship management, says: “Asset managers need a future-ready operating model enabled for multiple service providers that can adapt as their strategy evolves. In this environment, it’s all about flexibility, and we are excited to facilitate choice on behalf of our clients.”
