SmartStream has appointed Mark Morris as head of sales for managed services.
Reporting to Nick Smith, executive vice president of managed services, Morris will be responsible for delivering technology across functions including reconciliations, corporate actions, collateral management, cash and liquidity management, fees and expense management, and reference data.
Prior to joining SmartStream, Morris was at JDX Consulting working within Europe, Middle East and Africa on transaction lifecycle projects and assisting clients through regulatory change.
Before this, Morris was at TORI Global Management Consultants where he was responsible for cyber related projects.
He has also held managing director roles within a number of investment banks, including NatWest Markets, Nomura and Commerzbank.
Commenting on his new role, Morris says: “In recent months we have seen an increase in growth for the adoption of cloud-based and managed services, including delivered solutions.
