Goal Group has opened up a new office in Sydney, Australia, as it scales up its global client services function to support new business growth.

The Sydney office is Goal Group’s second location in Australia. The group says this reflects strong demand from the investment community for both withholding tax reclaims and securities class actions recoveries.

Several of the group’s key team members including Shane McLay, director of client services, Asia Pacific (APAC), and Bryan Gray, brand ambassador will use Goal Group’s workspace in the central business district as a base for hybrid work.

According to Goal Group, the new office in Sydney is an ideal strategic location for the team to work closely with the group’s expanding client base in the city and across the region.

Stephen Everard, Goal Group CEO, comments: "Another important milestone in the evolution of Goal Group to facilitate our ongoing mantra of continuous improvement and excellent client service."

Goal Group's head office is in London. It also has an expanding footprint across the US and APAC, with offices in New York and Melbourne, each staffed by local tax, legal and securities experts.

The group offers clients an efficient and cost-effective way to reclaim tax on cross-border dividend income and participate in securities class actions.

Last month, Goal Group appointed Daron Pearce as brand ambassador for its Europe, the Middle East and Africa region.
