Philip Dempsey has left SANNE as country head for Ireland after nearly five years of service.
Dempsey will be replaced by Graeme Rate, who currently serves as head of SANNE Ireland.
Dempsey has worked as Ireland country head since January 2019, but first began at SANNE in May 2017 as director of the LIS Ireland branch.
Prior to his career at SANNE, Dempsey was at Citi from February 2015 to May 2017. At Citi, Dempsey was part of the global fund services team as Europe, Middle East and Africa head of transfer agency product.
He has also served in other senior roles at Koger in Dublin and financial services firm, PNC.
Commenting on his departure via Linkedin, Dempsey said: “After almost 5 years at Sanne, today is my last day [16 December]. It’s been full of significant milestones including setting up LIS AIFM in Ireland and obtaining the first ever Real Assets Depositary license in Ireland with Dermot Mockler, as well as onboarding and working with very many amazing clients. Wishing my successor Graeme Rate the best of luck in his new role!”
