Oak Group has appointed James Tracey as managing director of its funds business in Guernsey, subject to regulatory approval.
In his new role, Tracey will be responsible for Oak Fund Services, the group’s funds business that provides bespoke fund administration services to private equity, open-ended, listed and alternative asset fund structures.
Tracey previously served as managing director at JTC Group, where he was responsible for all of JTC’s business divisions and operations in Guernsey, including product structuring, client relationships, business development and business strategy.
Other roles held at JTC Group include senior client director and director of client relationships and fund administration.
Tracey also previously served as director of Kleinwort Benson (Channel Islands) Fund Services and director of fund services and head of fund administration at Close Asset Management, respectively.
