State Street has appointed Yvette Hollingsworth Clark as executive vice president and global chief compliance officer. She will report to Brad Hu, executive vice president and global head of risk.
In the role, Hollingsworth Clark will be responsible for overseeing compliance activities globally, and will design and implement governance and control structures and processes. She will also cover financial services regulatory compliance frameworks.
Hollingsworth Clark brings nearly 30 years of experience to the role, beginning her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She joins State Street from Google’s Consumer Trust, where she has been senior director and global head of compliance for the past year. Previous to this, she served Wells Fargo in a range of roles for more than eight years, including as executive vice president and regulatory innovation officer.
Commenting on her appointment, Hollingsworth Clark says: “Leading financial institutions have opportunities to further strengthen existing compliance risk management practices. I am looking forward to working with the team of risk management professionals at State Street to further build structures and processes that evolve with the global risk landscape.”

Yvette is a respected professional in compliance risk management, with a strong record of building and leading effective anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance frameworks at global financial institutions. Her experience will prove invaluable as we further strengthen our compliance and AML organisation.”
