Research providers BancTrust & Co (BancTrust) and Crystal Shore Dashboards (CSD) have joined Tellimer Group (Tellimer)’s global research and data platform, Tellimer Insights.

Specialising in emerging markets, data from the two providers will be available to Tellimer’s clients who are subscribed to the Tellimer Insights platform. They join more than 60 banks already using the service.

BancTrust focuses on the debt markets of emerging markets, and will leverage Tellimer’s technology to distribute its analytical data around areas such as sovereign and corporate fixed income and credit strategy.

CSD will use Tellimer to deliver its systematically generated risk scores, which cover 41 emerging markets, 44 commodity markets and 1236 MSCI emerging markets single stocks.

Duncan Wales, CEO of Tellimer, says: “The addition of CSD’s unique emerging market and commodity risk analytics, together with the in-depth Latin American debt market coverage from BancTrust, represents a major expansion of the coverage available on Tellimer Insights. Our distribution technology will deliver this research and provide an array of investment intelligence to Tellimer clients and the wider investment community.”

Ramiro Blazquez, head of Latin America fixed income sovereign research at BancTrust, adds: "Our Latin America research team is delighted to be part of the Tellimer research platform. We share Tellimer’s vision on how to best service the investor community. To achieve this goal, we have assembled a team of senior on-the-ground based economists and strategists.

“We hope that our contribution will help to bridge the information and analysis gap that currently exists regarding those Latin American credits that fall outside the scope of mainstream research.”
