Technology provider TrustQuay has named Heath Davies as non-executive chairman. Working with Keith Hale, group CEO, he will be responsible for driving the company’s growth and global expansion.

Davies has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry, joining TrustQuay from his role as chairman and interim CEO at software development firm edays. He has served in several CEO positions at companies including Clearswift, Alterian and Exclaimer.

Throughout his career, Davies has worked on both software-as-a-service (SaaS) and private equity projects.

Commenting on his appointment, Davies says: “I’m delighted to be joining TrustQuay at such an exciting point in the company’s development. There are few businesses that have such a clear vision and a management team capable of executing against it — TrustQuay is one such business.”

Hale adds: “Following Hg’s investment in TrustQuay last month, it is great to have Heath join the team as non-executive chairman. His experience in software and SaaS is second to none, and with his private equity knowledge is an excellent addition to the board, helping myself and the management team execute TrustQuay’s vision to become the technology provider of choice, both globally and in every market in which we operate.”
