Capital Group chooses SS&C GIDS as UK fund transfer agent

Investment company Capital Group has selected SS&C Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) to act as transfer agent to Capital Group UK - Global High Income Opportunities Fund, its open-ended investment company.

Capital Group manages more than US$ 2.1 trillion in long-term assets for global investors, focusing on multi-asset, equity and fixed income investment strategies.

SS&C GIDS already acts as transfer agent to Capital Group in the US, servicing its American Funds Service Company.

Gavin Lilburn, investment operations director for Europe and Asia at Capital Group, says: “We are delighted to partner with a technology provider equipped to deliver the latest digital tools and capabilities as we build out our UK business.
