Archax introduces custody service for digital assets

Digital asset exchange, broker and custodian Archax has launched a custody service for a range of digital assets.

Targeted at professional investors and institutions, the solution will provide custody services for cryptocurrencies, non-fungible tokens and digital securities, as well as traditional securities and client cash.

Archax will deliver the service in partnership with METACO, provider of digital asset custody and orchestration technology.

The technology will be deployed on the IBM Cloud, in an effort to leverage the confidential capabilities of IBM’s secure digital asset infrastructure.

Commenting on the launch, Graham Rodford, CEO and co-founder of Archax, says: “We are really excited to be rolling out this Archax service, leveraging the technology we have been building and the regulations that we have put in place.

“We have been running the custody service in stealth mode for a while now and are already holding client assets, including crypto, cash, digital and traditional asset classes.”
