Global security data services provider Exchange Data International (EDI) has launched the UK FundsCAB service in an expansion of its investment funds coverage.
The new platform provides users with corporate actions data on more than 13,700 share class funds from 200 fund management companies. Clients can access corporate actions as soon as they are uploaded to the EDI’s web-based system.
Data is collected, analysed and published from unit trusts and open-ended investment companies or their representatives, with further information gathered from various online sources.
Along with daily fund distributions, published to the UK FundsCab platform, users benefit from faster access to corporate actions data, EDI says.
Tony McCormack, head of global investment funds at EDI, says: “EDI has built relationships with the fund management companies and their administrators, in the UK, over many years. If timeliness of corporate actions and distributions is a key concern for your firm, then we have the solution.
“When we release a corporate action, you will be alerted that a change has taken place for that fund in your portfolio. We actively monitor corporate actions as they happen, so you get the data you need faster.”
