Luxembourg for Finance (LFF) has appointed Simon Gorbutt as deputy CEO, effective 1 August 2023.
Gorbutt has more than 16 years of experience in the country’s financial sector, and joins LFF from Lombard International Assurance. Most recently, he was director and head of wealth planning at the company.
Earlier in his tenure at the company, he was head of Northern Europe for wealth structuring solutions and head of the executive office.
Gorbutt is currently a member of the Luxembourg Association of Family offices board, and has previously served as chairman of the STEP Benelux board, a global professional association for family inheritance and succession planning practitioners.
