Global digital bank FV Bank has appointed Luz Mabel del Valle as chief risk officer and deputy chief compliance officer, based in Puerto Rico.
Valle will be responsible for all the bank’s risk management functions including financial, product, operational and enterprise risk.
Del Valle has more than two decades of experience in the industry, joining FV Bank from Anstrall Consulting Group where she was chief strategic risk and compliance executive officer.
Throughout her career, she has held a number of senior compliance roles at firms including VISIONBioBank, Encanto Group and Stern International Bank.
Commenting on her appointment, Del Valle says: “I am looking forward to contributing to FV Bank’s continued success by helping develop and grow the risk management framework to ensure that FV Bank can capitalise on future growth opportunities while maintaining a strong commitment to the core principles of sensible risk management that all banks should abide by."
