Infrastructure, data and analytics provider Transaction Network Services (TNS) has gone live with the Nasdaq Nordic colocation data centre.
Nasdaq Nordic operates equities and stock index futures derivatives markets across the Nordic and Baltic regions. With the data centre integrated into the TNS low latency network, TNS can now offer market data, managed hosting services and exchange access to these markets via Layer 1 connectivity.
The announcement forms part of TNS’ expansion of its European managed hosting and Layer 1 provisions.
Jeff Mezger, vice president of product management for financial markets at TNS, says: “We are delighted to add this latest exchange solution to further strengthen our European exchange connectivity and managed hosting capabilities.
“We remain focused on delivering market data to any location globally, via our low latency backbone which is specifically designed to minimise network latency and packet loss.”
