Investor services group IQ-EQ has appointed Patrik Marti as managing director of its Switzerland division. He will be based in Zurich.

Marti will be responsible for the firm’s Swiss operations and regional growth, with a focus on single and multi-family office solutions. He will boost connectivity across the business, connecting with IQ-EQ’s fund platforms in Luxembourg, France and Ireland.

Marti has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, and joins IQ-EQ from a Swiss financial advisory company where he was chief operating officer. Prior to this, he spent two decades with Credit Suisse in a number of senior roles including managing director and head of fund companies. He also held a seat on the executive management board of Credit Suisse Trust.

Alongside his new role, Marti serves as a member of the Swiss Institute of Directors and is chairman of the board at Wohnen am Bächli.

Commenting on his appointment, Marti says: “I look forward to working with the team to continue providing exceptional service to our clients and drive growth in this important market. IQ-EQ has a reputation for providing innovative solutions and I am excited to be a part of this dynamic organisation."

Diana Senanayake, regional CEO for continental Europe, adds: “[Marti’s] extensive asset servicing expertise and knowledge of both the funds and private wealth spheres makes him the ideal candidate to lead our efforts in Switzerland. We are confident that Patrik's leadership will be instrumental in driving our growth and success in the region."
