Through a partnership with Battea Class Action Services, SimCorp clients will now be able to maximise their fund recovery across a range of security types.

Class and collective action antitrust and securities litigation recovery services firm Battea Class Action Services covers the securities class and collective action process from front to back, working across all jurisdictions. Data that clients have already stored on the SimCorp platform will be used in the service.

Battea Class Action Services will be available through SimCorp’s Open Platform, an ecosystem which gives clients access to fintech solutions and services across the investment chain.

Michael McCreesh, president of Battea Class Action Services, says: “Battea Class Action Services will provide SimCorp’s clients with best-in-class global damage analysis and class and collective action claim filing for securities, derivatives, currencies, foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives.”

Anders Kirkeby, head of open innovation at SimCorp, adds: “Battea can deliver superior service and investment outcomes, and given its service covers the entire claims filing process and is paid for via a contingency fee-based model, it doesn’t compete for budget or internal bandwidth. Battea will provide SimCorp clients with improved class and collective action antitrust and securities litigation recovery services immediately.”
