Independent private capital fund administrator Gen II Fund Services has appointed Marlene Pelage as chief financial officer.

Pelage has more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry and has spent the last four years in CFO roles, most recently at advertising agency Mediabrands and, before that, at Charles Schwab Bank.

Pelage held the position of CFO at Charles Schwab for the final two years of her 18-year career with the company, where she played a key role in the development of growth strategies and client solutions.

Previously, she worked for more than a decade at Credit Agricole Bank, where she held positions including credit analyst and risk manager.

She currently serves on the President's Leadership Council at The Asia Foundation, which promotes access to education and financial independence for women across Southeast Asian countries.

In January 2023, she also became board director of NetScout Systems (NTCT), a NASDAQ-listed company that provides service assurance and cybersecurity solutions.

Commenting on her appointment, Pelage says: “ As a fund administrator, Gen II is well-positioned for continued growth, and I look forward to helping drive additional value for our clients and the firm.”

Steven Millner, CEO of Gen II, adds: “Marlene is an extraordinary executive with a strong track record of achieving results at leading international firms.

“We are thrilled to welcome Marlene and are confident her contributions will help accelerate our innovation and value creation as we continue to execute on our growth strategy.”
