VP Fund Solutions has appointed Anja Richter as head of legal and compliance for its management board in Luxembourg.
In this newly-created position, Richter will assume responsibility for the compliance, outsourcing controlling, AML and legal services divisions of the management board.
She will join CEO Torsten Ries, chief risk officer Uwe Stein and chief financial officer Alexander Ziehl.
Richter, a fully qualified lawyer, has more than 20 years of experience in legal services, investment fund product structuring, compliance, AML, counter-terrorism and outsourcing controlling.
She was most recently a member of the management team at MainFirst Affiliated Fund Managers.
Commenting on Richter’s appointment, Ries says: "We are pleased to welcome Anja Richter as a competent addition to the management team. I wish Anja Richter every success in her new role and look forward to working with her."
