Gretchen Garrigues joins SimCorp

Investment management solutions provider SimCorp has appointed Gretchen Garrigues as chief marketing officer.

In the New York-based role, Garrigues will be responsible for the company’s marketing, branding and communications, with the goal of producing commercial results to improve SimCorp’s growth trajectory.

Garrigues has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, most recently serving as founder and chief marketing officer of consulting firm Global Growth Marketing Group. Prior to this, she was executive vice president and global chief marketing, communications and customer experience officer at Toronto-based insurance firm Manulife.

Earlier in her career, Garrigues was global chief marketing officer for IT firm First Data Corporation (now part of Fiserv) and spent more than 15 years with financial services firm GE Capital.

Oliver Johnson, chief revenue officer at SimCorp, says: “[Garrigues’] background and industry experience are exactly what we need to drive our company forward. Having her based in New York will undoubtedly amplify our momentum in expanding across North America.

“Gretchen joins SimCorp with strong chief marketing officer experience from several publicly-traded, global financial services companies, where she built an extensive global track record of success scaling, transforming, and leading marketing and communications teams.”
