Apex has appointed Stephen Geddes as UK regional head.
Geddes joined Apex through the strategic acquisition of Mainspring Fund Services, which he founded and managed as CEO.
Geddes started his career in corporate finance at Hambros Bank. He also held an eight-year tenure as chief operating officer at Pi Capital. In this role he was responsible for leading the finance, HR and IT functions for fund structuring and the management of investor relations for several hundred investors.
Geddes was also an investor at Eden Capital, consultant at Kagan Media and helped set up BBC Online.
Commenting on his new role at Apex, Geddes says: “It is an exciting time to take on a new role as we see significant growth opportunities for Apex Group in the UK financial services industry.
“Along with the experienced regional management team, I will be focused on ensuring that we leverage Apex Group’s global technology-enabled solutions, while also recognising the needs of the UK market and our growing local client base across all asset classes both covering listed and private assets.”
