Alpha Alt Fund Services has announced Scott Young as their new senior manager.
Young has more than two decades of industry experience, and was recently a director in charge of corporate compliance at Carta. In this role he was the manager of four individuals within the transfer agent, broker-dealer and operational compliance functions of the company.
Prior to this, he was a fintech advisory consultant at Prometheus Alternative Investments and a senior compliance officer at AI-powered spend platform Brex.
Earlier in his career, Young served in a number of prime brokerage roles at firms including Merril Lynch, Weeden Prime Services and TradeStation. He began his career as a financial analyst at the US Department of Defense.
On his appointment, Young posted a message on LinkedIn: “Getting to work with such an incredible team of fund administration thought leaders, including Todd [Goldman], John [Ferrari], Sophie [Ebanks Gibbs] and Tessa [Duchsherer] here at Alpha Alt Fund Services, is the very best way to start down a new professional path!
