Private markets data platform Lantern has confirmed the appointment of Charlie Markham as chief technology officer.
In the recently created role, Markham will lead Lantern’s data science and engineering teams to deliver and scale the company’s technological capabilities as it continues its global expansion.
Markham’s early projects will include incorporating Lantern’s natural language search functionality into the platform, and providing scenario modelling for forward-looking analysis.
Markham has close to two decades of industry experience and has held chief technology officer roles at a number of firms including Metapraxis, WeShop and Waymark Tech.
Commenting on his appointment, Markham says: “The team has already built an incredible platform and product offering, and there is much more in the pipeline. I look forward to growing and developing Lantern’s technology capabilities, drawing on my decade of experience as a chief technology officer.”
