Melanie Moos has joined Depowise, an Estonia-based startup fintech company. Her appointment aims to automate asset servicing processes and boost customers’ scalability and profitability.
Moos explains her decision to join the start-up: “Depowise’s mission to revolutionise operations resonates with me, because I’ve seen very closely how manual and risky current processes can be. I’ve been thoroughly impressed by what Depowise has achieved in just two-and-a-half years – it is already servicing world-leading banks and financial institutions, and its growth is unstoppable.”
She joins from KPMG where she was a partner. At KPMG, she directed large-scale transformation programmes and led business development initiatives. On her time at the company, she says: “Being a partner at KPMG required me to wear many hats, encompassing sales, delivery, staying abreast of all changes within my practice, and team management.
“I am now bringing these experiences to Depowise, with the goal of shaping and executing strategies that will accelerate the company’s success.”
Prior to her time at KPMG, Moos was senior vice president at Clearstream. In this role she led product management for investment funds services, overseeing partnerships, acquisitions and transitions in Europe and Singapore.
