Northern Trust has welcomed David Abner as head of global ETF’s and Funds.
Abner will report to Paula Kar, global head of Product, at Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM).
In his new role, Abner will oversee NTAM’s mutual fund and ETF product strategy, research and development, product management, and capital markets, as well as fund services oversight and treasury functions.
Prior to this new role, Abner most recently served as global head of Business Development at Gemini Crypto Exchange.
Previously, Abner spent over a decade with WisdomTree Asset Management in a number of leadership roles, including as CEO of WisdomTree Europe.
