DataBP has partnered with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) to launch a digital marketplace, aimed at enhancing the JSE’s current data offerings.

The marketplace will simplify client onboarding and automate data access for billing processes. The firms say the marketplace will further enable customers to access a wide range of the JSE’s digital products, alongside analytics services and real-time market data.

The collaboration is said to be part of the JSE’s next phase of growth, where the advancement of digital technology is aimed at developing the JSE’s scalability across the African continent.

The CEO of DataBP, Mark Schaedel, comments: “At DataBP, we are committed to leveraging cloud-native technologies to streamline commercial market data practices. We look forward to continuing our partnership with JSE and supporting their success in the marketplace.”

Mark Randall, director of information services at the JSE, emphasises: “This offering marks the successful completion of the first phase of our market data modernisation strategy. Ultimately, the JSE aims to leverage cloud services to provide clients with analytics and insights.”
