Danske Bank has implemented Broadridge's global proxy voting solution, in a bid to enhance global client services.
The solution aims to make the proxy voting process more efficient, and ensures greater accuracy and speed overall. This is said to enable Danske Bank's clients to develop more informed investment decisions.
The implementation marks the continuation of the strategic relationship between both companies. Live operations for the proxy voting technology commenced with Broadridge in September, and will now be available to clients globally.
Greta Liniauskaite-Jankuniene, head of asset services at Danske Bank, comments: "This collaboration enables us to deliver seamless, efficient voting solutions that empower our clients across all regions, and, together with Broadridge, we can combine our expertise and experience with an efficient end-to-end solution."
Senior vice president of investor communication solutions international at Broadridge, Demi Derem, adds: "Working together in close partnership, we are delivering on our commitment to advance shareholder democracy and market wide governance standards throughout the shareholder communications chain.”
