Liquidnet has selected Eric Blake as the new head of Latin America.
In his new position, Blake will oversee the expansion of Liquidnet’s business in the region, focusing on discovering new sources of actionable liquidity and delivering technological solutions to local and global asset managers.
He joins the company from BTG Pactual, where he served as head of electronic trading and led the deployment of the first electronic block trading facility in Brazil.
Blake holds over 25 years experience in a variety of senior leadership positions, with a breadth of knowledge across both the domestic and international capital markets.
Alan Polo, head of sales and trading, Americas at Liquidnet, states: “[Blake’s] experience in the region and his proven track record of building institutional client relationships and product management implementation across sales and trading, position us well to drive our growth in this critical market.”
