Citi Issuer Services completes CIF settlement 22 January 2025US Reporter: Clelia Frondaroli

Citi Issuer Services has finalised the settlement of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) Capital Markets Mechanism (CCMM)’s first bond issuance.
The issuance was part of the CCMM’s borrowing programme, listed in November 2024. Citi served as Note Trustee, Principal Paying Agent, and Calculation Agent in the settlement.
Dirk Jones, head of Issuer Services at Citi, comments: “By delivering Citi’s global network, we are enabling issuers to access capital around the world. Our role in this significant initiative and its inaugural issuance leverages Citi’s cross-border capabilities and technical expertise as we facilitate capital raising worldwide.”
The CCMM is said to channel funds to the Clean Technology Fund (CTF), where it supports a range of clean technologies in low and middle income countries including renewable energy and clean transport.
