Ondo Finance, a tokenised real-world asset (RWA) issuer, is adding tokenised US Treasuries to the XRP Ledger (XRPL).
This move will see institutional investors gaining access to Ondo’s short-term US government Treasuries (OUSG) through a secure and transparent infrastructure, the company says.
Ondo Finance further claims that by bringing OUSG to the XRPL, investors will have greater access to tokenised US Treasuries, while remaining compliant with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
Katie Wheeler, vice president of partnerships at Ondo Finance, comments: “Ondo Finance is proud to bring OUSG, our institutional-grade tokenised US Treasury fund, to the XRP Ledger — a blockchain that institutions already know and trust."
