London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has appointed Gianluca Biagini and Ron Lefferts as co-heads of its data and analytics division.
In this role, they will report to CEO David Schwimmer and lead the continued growth of LSEG’s flagship Workspace product.
Lefferts, currently group head of sales and account management, has been at LSEG since 2021 and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2023.
Biagini will join the group on 18 August 2025 from S&P Global, where he has been serving as head of data, valuations and risk analytics. He will also be a member of LSEG’s Executive Committee.
Schwimmer says: “Gianluca and Ron make a formidable team. Their highly complementary track records are outstanding; they bring deep expertise of driving transformation, building customer partnership and creating long-term value.”
