Broadridge Financial Solutions has appointed Jose Contin as general manager of Broadridge City Networks for the EMEA region. Based in London, the new role will see Contin focus on growing the business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Most recently, Contin headed up a US bank/broker-dealer relationship sales team for Broadridge. As a global relationship manager, Contin was responsible for several of Broadridge’s top revenue accounts. Previously, Contin managed the account team that supported existing back-office clients as well as developing and expanding client relationships.
Contin is relocating from New York at a time “when its clients are faced with evolving challenges due to weak economic conditions and increased regulation,” said Broadridge.
Before joining Broadridge in 2008, Contin spent 15 years in senior trading, client service and operations management roles at Morgan Stanley in both San Francisco and New York.
“Contin is a talented executive who brings strong business development, people management and operational experience to the team,” said Tom Carey, president of securities processing solutions international at Broadridge. “His leadership will add value for our existing and prospective clients, and help drive the growth strategies of our business.”
