The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemtion Indicator for October 2012 measured 3.19 percent, down from 3.76 percent in September.
The GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator represents the sum of forward redemption notices that are received from investors in hedge funds administered by SS&C on the GlobeOp platform, divided by the AUA at the beginning of the month for SS&C GlobeOp fund administration clients on the GlobeOp platform.
Forward redemptions as a percentage of SS&C GlobeOp's AUA on the GlobeOp platform have trended significantly lower since reaching a high of 19.27 percent in November 2008.
Bill Stone, chairman and CEO, SS&C Technologies, said: "As we enter the last quarter, October forward redemptions follow the seasonal trend of being lower than September."
