Bedell Cristin has further strengthened its banking and corporate group through a series of recent appointments of lawyers.
Stephen Ferguson and Amy Fairfoull, both former Eversheds LLP lawyers, join the Jersey office, alongside solicitors Chloe Vaughan and Louise Hassell.
The latest appointments complement earlier hires to the team, of Antony Clerehugh from DLA Piper; Heather Hiram, who specialises in investment funds; and Mark Nisbet.
In Guernsey, Richard Sharp joins as a senior associate. He advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial offshore transactions including acquisitions and mergers, reorganisations, migrations, fund listing services and private equity.
He is in a team which earlier in the year was further strengthened with the appointment of Tristan Ozanne, who has seven years’ experience at another large local law firm in Guernsey and who specialises in banking and investment funds.
The recent appointments also follow on from the recruitment of Valerie Georges-Thomas to head up the Bedell office in the BVI, and the opening of a Bedell office in Singapore headed by leading BVI lawyer Stephen Adams.
