Two of the Confluence’s key executives—James Smith and Frederick Winston—have been appointed to the roles of COO and CFO, respectively.
With more than 20 years of experience, Smith joined Confluence in December 2010 as a vice president of product development. “During his time at Confluence, Smith has been instrumental in helping position Confluence for global expansion,” said Mark Evans, chairman, CEO and president.
“His innovative approach to creating complete and trusted product solutions has helped us pinpoint new global opportunities, and his disciplined commitment to meeting product release deadlines has substantially impacted customer loyalty.”
Winston joined Confluence’s San Francisco office in October of 2011 as a vice president of business development.
Prior to joining Confluence, Smith was a senior vice president and division COO with Fiserv, and he also served as an operations executive at both J.P. Morgan Chase and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Winston previously worked at US Bancorp Piper Jaffray Ventures and also held senior-level roles at Broncus Technologies.
