The Malta Fund Industry Association, in collaboration with the University of Malta and the Malta Institute of Financial Services (IFS), is holding a course on fund administration with a specialisation in banking and finance.
Following completion of the elective course candidates can receive exemptions from the Diploma in Fund Administration, which is awarded by Manchester University.
The IFS recently launched a new range of online training courses for professionals and students in the finance sector.
The certified courses aim to address diverse topical aspects of finance including counter terrorist financing, anti-money laundering, fraud prevention, data protection and information security.
IFS Malta President Simon Grech said: "Our main aim is to provide the latest financial skills and training, with an emphasis on Maltese law and practices, to help candidates maintain a competitive edge in Malta's ever evolving and increasingly dynamic finance sector."
The institute plans to add more online courses in the future, with the aim of providing specialised training to a wider audience.
