Managing consultant joins GreySpark Partners

GreySpark Parnters has hired Stephane Lannoy, who joins as managing consultant for the firm’s pre-trade risk control practice in Hong Kong.

Lannoy will work with banks and securities firms in the Asia Pacific region to assess existing controls applied to electronic trading execution systems and will advise clients on control improvements.

He has more than 20 years of experience in senior technology across Asia, Europe and the US. Before joining GreySpark, Lannoy was executive director of operations and technology at the Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange

Andrew McLauchlan, managing director of GreySpark Partners in the Asia Pacific, said: “Lannoy’s extensive experience bolsters our existing capability and enables us to work closely with clients to assess their needs and where needed implement appropriate solutions.”

Lannoy added: “The pre-trade risk control practice at GreySpark leverages their expertise to enable clients to benchmark their pre-trade risk controls and strengthen them to reduce the risk of failures in the future.”
