UniCredit is promoting Susanna Scheffold to head of global securities services, to take over from Tomasz Grajewski, effective from 1 August.

Grajewski has been head of global securities services in Poland in 2008, and took on additional responsibility as head of global securities services in 2011. He is now stepping down due to family commitments, but will retain his position in Poland, as well as keeping his position on the global securities services executive committee.

Scheffold will be based in Vienna, and will be responsible for the securities services business. Previously, she was head of securities services 2 at UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions (UBIS).

She has also held positions as head of securities operations in commercial banking, head of country operations for line finance and treasury, and head of country operations for line securities for Austria.

In her new role, she will report to Claudio Camozzo and Ernst Ohmayer, co-heads of global transaction banking, and also to Angelo Rizzuti, deputy head of global transaction banking, who is also based in Vienna.

Camozzo and Ohmayer said: “[Scheffold] is not only familiar with the securities services business but also with IT and therefore knows our clients' needs very well and is a perfect match to support UniCredit´s securities services business.”

“At the same time we would like to thank [Grajewski] for his invaluable contribution during a period of major expansion of the securities services business and his dedication to our clients, and we look forward to continue working with him.”
