BTIG, a financial services provider specialising in institutional trading, investment banking, research and brokerage, has hired Daniel Howell as a director.
Howell will focus on business development in the transaction management team, covering public and private pensions, corporations, fund managers and sovereign wealth funds.
He has previously held similar roles at BNY Mellon Asset Servicing and Citigroup Global Capital Markets.
At BTIG, Howell will report to Thomas Smykowski, managing director and head of global portfolio and exchange-traded funds trading.
Smykowski said: "With his industry experience, Daniel brings tremendous value to the firm while complementing the talent of our existing transition management team."
