SIX suffering service issues 20 June 2016Zurich Reporter: Stephanie Palmer

SIX is experiencing an interruption to its network service, particularly affecting its payments segment.
The issue is not related to the SIX Exchange and has been ongoing issue since this morning (20 June). Specifically, a SIX spokesperson said the issue has meant it has led to difficulty in withdrawing cash from ATMs.
According to the spokesperson, it is not currently known what has caused the issue, but SIX does not believe it is related to a cyber security breach.
The group is working on solving the problem, but could not say when the affected services would be up and running.
