Allianz Global Investors has appointed Margaret Frost to head up its institutional business in the UK, effective 1 October.
Frost joins from Rogge Global Partners (RGP), a London-based fixed-income specialist that was acquired by Allianz GI in June.
At RGP, Frost was head of generalist portfolio management, a position she had held since 2011. Since last year, she has also led client and marketing relationships.
Previously, she has worked at the likes of Towers Watson, BNP Paribas and Citibank.
In her new role, Frost will be responsible for institutional sales, account management and consultant relations in the UK, as well as coordinative global consultant relations activities.
Irshaad Ahmad, head of the European institutional business at Allianz GI, said: “Joining forces with RGP has enhanced our investment capabilities and brought new colleagues and clients into our firm.”
“We know we have a wealth of talent in RGP and our UK distribution team here at AllianzGI, so the opportunity to put them together is very exciting. I am confident that Margaret Frost has the experience and knowledge to help us meet and exceed our clients’ expectations today and in the future.”
