Linedata has released a new version of its Linedata Icon fund accounting solution, extending its corporate action processing capabilities.

The upgrade is part of the solution’s functional and technological evolution and follows the introduction of improved instrument coverage and regulatory compliance tools.

The latest version of the solution allows clients to view and accounting book of record and investment book of record, and to provide start-of-day positions for trading.

It has also built on its net asset value and unit pricing facilities, allowing for automation of funds that work on irregular pricing and supporting the allocation of holdings to a single share class.

Linedata also plans additional updates focusing on usability, control and risk reduction.

Thierry Soret, global head of fund services at Linedata, said: “Linedata Icon is a great example of how our product improvements are directly linked to the challenges faced by our clients and the industry at large, in terms of ease of use, agility and information, and risk management.”

“We have prioritised aspects of Linedata Icon that make the solution even easier and more efficient to operate. This complements the product’s existing scalability and flexibility, ensuring Linedata Icon maintains its position as a world leader in fund administration solutions.”
