Citi has given Pervaiz Panjwani oversight of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) global custody business.
In this expanded role, Panjwani, who is already EMEA head of global funds services, will be responsible for leading the product teams at Citi across custody and fund services and working with partners in operations and technology.
Panjwani will report to Chris Cox, EMEA head of investor services at Citi, and Sanjiv Sawhney, global head of custody and fund services.
“Global custody and fund services is a core part of our investor services franchise strategy”, stated Sawhney. “Aligning our products and leadership under Pervaiz in the EMEA will help ensure that we continue to grow and strengthen the platform to deliver the best products for our clients.”
