ACUO has chosen Trade Financial’s Transformer solution as a component in its derivatives collateral management platform.
Transformer was selected by ACUO to handle the intricacies of the major messaging standards, such as ISO 20022, and to perform in a JavaScript object notation (JSON) and application programming interface (API) environment.
The solution will allow ACUO to reduce the number of mappings that need to be created by users and to also define ISO 20022 matters into XML or JSON.
While ACUO’s own platform can communicate via APIs and use JSON, the addition of Transformer will provide ACUO with a wider range of legacy data formats and standards.
Additional features for ACUO, such as interfacing to a global legal entity identifier (GLEI) database, are still in development.
Conor Cunningham, CEO and founder of ACUO, said: "Transformer has been instrumental in helping us to build and grow the ACUO solution. Transformer's strength and depth in traditional messaging standards together with its flexibility in JSON/API-based mapping have provided us with a mapping solution which is easily able to meet all of our needs."
